Dear Parents and Teachers,

We hope you are having a great summer so far. Time goes
fast. School finished only a month ago. Now, we have to do
the registration for your kids. You will receive a $30
discount if you complete and send your check with the full
amount to school by July 15, 2008. The registration canl
be done via online www.hxcsmg.org. If you have any

Some of you may already know that our school teacher – Ms.
Gu, MingZheng will host a vocal concert at Montgomery
Performance Art Center on Saturday October 4, 2008 at 6:30
PM. The $20 tickets and $10 tickets are for Chinese
school.  They accept personal check or cash. Make the
check payable to:  “HuaXia Chinese School at Montgomery”
and indicate Sally Gu Vocal Concert at memo line. The
official concert email address is
sallyguconcert@yahoo.com.
Due to the size of the concert flyer image, I will send it
out in another email.

School Facility Rental Update: After the meeting with
Montgomery School District officers (BOE Chair, Chair of
Finance & budget committee, Superintendent, Business
Manager), the rental will not be increased for this year.
For the next step, we will seek a long term contract with
BOE for the rental. Details will follow.

On July 2, 2008, our school participated in the township
firework event. We displayed SiChun Earthquake pictures
and made a very successful donation sale. The benefit of
this event was not only to request the donations, but also
made our school more visible to our community and
residents. I would like to thank Gan XiaoDong, Zhang Hong,
Zhang YuanZhen, Wang YiPing, and many young kids for
supporting this participation.
