Dear Parents and Teachers,

 

Time goes fast. This year¡¯s school Election Day is approaching. I am very excited to announce that my two year term is almost complete. We need a new principal. Here is the Board announcement.

 

1. The Board of Trustees notice to all parents

 

Dear parents,

 

According to the school guidelines, it is the time to elect the following school officers for 2009-2010 school year:

 

1. Principal,

2. Chair of Parent Association,

3. Member of the Board of Trustees (three vacant seats)

 

All active members (students, parents or guardians, teachers and school officers) who have been with our school for at least one full school year, who are over 18 years of age, and who have paid tuition or other membership due in full for themselves and all of their family members can either self-nominate or be nominated by other members as the candidate for above positions.

 

All nomination should be made in writing and submitted to the election coordinating team or school office by the mid night of March 18.

 

An introduction meeting will be held on 21-Mar-2008 for all candidates to meet with parents. The election will be held on 28-Mar-2008.

2. Jack Zhao, son of Yang Qing, will provide a presentation about universities selection for high school students and parents from 2:00-3:30PM this Saturday in room C104. See attachment for the outline.

3. On March 22, 2009 starting at 2:00pm and ending at 5:00pm, the HX Star will be held at the Montgomery Performance Art Center (MPAC). Children from 12 HX branches will perform on the stage. The HX Star tickets sale starts this Saturday at $5 each. Bring your family and enjoy the show.

4. On April 18, 2009, the debate contest will be held at our school at 3:30pm. This debate is organized by six HuaXia branches, including Montgomery.  Students who are in fourth grade and above are qualified to participate. Please register with your teacher or with the Dean  Mr. Huang Shijun.
