Dear Parents and Teachers,
1. At Mr. Robbins (the principal of the UMS) request, due to two performances at the UMS, we will not have school on March 28, 2009.
2. As scheduled, we will have no school on April 4 and April 11 (Spring break). School will resume on April 18, 2009.
3. The president of MTEA, Mr. Christopher Crow, wrote the letter below to our school and our parents. The voting day for the budget is April 22, 2009. Use you voting privilege to support school budget.

Those of us who work as teachers and administrators in

budget does not pass, we will likely face cutbacks that include eliminating
teachers and other staff members, increasing class sizes, and reducing academic
and extra-curricular programs.

Hey Everybody!
I am working on my Silver Award project and I am collecting items and full boxes for Operation Shoebox. This is an organization that sends care packages to our soldiers all over the world. I want to be able to have three to five boxes and to reach that goal, I need your help! You can either make your own care package (no postage please) or buy some items from the list.
The boxes and items can be dropped off at my Girl Scout
Troop's Service Saturday. The event is May 2, 2009 1:00 - 4:00 pm at
