Dear Parents and Teachers,

1. Congratulations to the newly elected officers for school 2009 -2010. They are: Principal – Mr. Kan Wang, Re-elected Board members (Gan, XiaoDong, David Lin, Zhang, Lianying), and re-elected PA Chair, Mr. Zhang Yuenzheng. The election results are: for the total 84 valid ballots, Wang, Kan: 83; Zhang, Yuanzheng: 83; Gan, Xiaodong: 84; David Lin: 84; Zhang, Lianying: 82.

2. HX Field & Track Game. The HX F&T game will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2009, at East Brunswick High School , 380 Cranbury Rd , East Brunswick , NJ 08816 . The game starts around 9:00am and finishes at 4:00pm. The registration deadline already passed, but if you still like to participate in, please contacts PA Chair, Zhang Yuan Zheng at yuanzheng_z@yahoo.com.
PA will provide free lunch for all participates. However $5 will be charged for the t-shirt.

3. Montgomery Township Mayor will come to school this Saturday. She is going to have a meeting with Montgomery residents. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the sewer system charge change and will listen your complaints. If you are not happy about the charge, it is the time to speak out. The meeting starts at 1:45pm in room C104.

4. The School budget was approved with more than 300 extra votes. A widest margin of victory in 6 years: 20 percentage points. A 49% increase in "Yes" vote. Many HuaXia parents went to vote. Our contribution is recognized and appreciated by the community.

5. An Asian American Heritage Month celebration event is being planned for May 17th. Open the attachments for details.
