Dear Parents,

Attached please find an announcement of the election results from our school BOT. I will continue to serve you as the principal for next school year. Thank you for your support.

Please pay attention to the following:

1)       HXCSMG Talent Show will be held this Sat, at Auditorium from 3:30 to 5:30pm.

2)       HXCS will hold a Track & Field game at the Upper Middle School of Montgomery (our school) on May 15, next Sat. Please come to join this big HX event.  We will NOT have the regular Chinese school on that day.   

3)       June 12 will be our last day of school year. (it is used as the makeup day for a snow day this year).

4)       May 29 is Memorial Day Weekend. No school on that day.

Also,  I would like to ask for your continued support on educating your children to not write words or draw pictures on the school desks, not to touch any of the UMS school teachers’ and students’ property, such as lockers, teachers’ material, computers, etc. This is very important for us to successfully run school in UMS.  The attached is the link of the rules of our school. http://www.hxcsmg.org/rules.htm.

 In addition, Please pay an attention to the following for the safety on the school drive way:

1)       None should park the car on the school drive way.

2)       None should drop the kids at the middle of the drive way. It is very dangerous.

3)       Please drop your kid at the right side of the driver way if you have to.

4)       Please do not take short cut and rush on the drive way.

 Be patient to let the front car go first.

Thanks to the participation of many parents, HX at Montgomery held its annual school election last week (01-May-2010). We’d like to congratulate the following individuals for being elected to various HX positions and we appreciate their willingness to serve Huaxia community:

We would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to our current BOT Chair, Mr. David Lin for his excellent service to Huaxia families for the past several years. David has decided to resigned/retired from BOT at the end of this school year due to his increasingly frequent oversea travels. Mr. Zhang Yuanzheng will also retire from the PA Chair and BOT member positions at the end of this school year. We appreciate his excellent service to our school for the past 2 years.
