To celebrate the Chinese New Year on Jan. 6, 2009, we do not have school this Saturday. School will resume on Jan. 31, 2009. Jan. 31 is the first day of spring semester.

Several things need to communicate with you.

The VES PTA needs our parents help for the New Year's Around the World event on January 30th. If your kids are VES students, please provide your support. In addition, OHES is in great need for another co-chair for International Night. See attached helpNeeded.doc.

The 2009 Huaxia Night will be held at the State Theatre of New Jersey in New Brunswick on Saturday, January 31st, 2009. There are a few tickets remaining. However, all $25 and $15 are sold out. The remaining tickets are priced at $45 and $35. The flyer is attached. You may directly purchase the tickets with Mr. Lin ShiDan.
You may heard that the “Soul of Shaolin” is performing during 1/13 – 1/31 at Marquis Theatre in New York City. Sorry for the short notice. If you are interested, please purchase your tickets via the contact on the flyer. You may call 800-223-7565 to find out the tickets availability before making your group. Women's Heart Red Dress Luncheon - Sunday, 2/1/09, 12:00 PM–3:00 PM. Marriott Hotel, Trenton. We have four teenager volunteers who like to offer a free English class for our seniors. If you or your parents would like to learn more English or want to take the Citizenship Test, please attend the free class. The class will start at 3:30 pm on the next school day on Jan. 31, 2009.

Mr. Yin Chengzong Piano Solo is going to hold in Nicholas hall, Rutgers on Valentine's day(2/14/2009). All HX parents who purchase tickets will get 10% discount of the ticket face price, and another 5% will give to school PTA. The ticket prices are $30, $40, $50 and $100.
