Dear Parents,
A new semester is just starting. This Saturday, September
8, 2007, is the first day of the HuaXia Chinese School at
Montgomery. We will have a very busy day. The following is
the schedule of the day.
1. Starting 1:00 PM, we are ready for late and on site
registration. The registration will be held in the
Cafeteria. For those who need to make payment, please come
early and bring your registration form (printed from your
website account) with your signature and your check.
2. The Chinese language classes and CSL classes will start
at 1:30 PM. All registered students, please bring your
admission certificate (either mailed to your home or print
out from website) and directly go to your class room. Your
teacher will be there before 1:30 PM. In case your teacher
is late, please be patient and send one parent to report
to the administration office. If your kids have not
registered, please complete registration first, then go to
their class room with class pass form (issued after
registration completed). No books or teaching materials
will be distributed to those who have not paid tuition
yet.
At the first session (1:30 PM – 2:20 PM), all
parents are welcome to sit in your kids’ class room if
there is enough room.
3. At 2:30 PM, we will have a parents meeting in
Cafeteria. All parents, teachers (no classes), please
leave your kids’ class room and come to Cafeteria before
2:30 PM. No parents should stay in class rooms and
hallways. Teachers will ask you leave his/her class room.
Let us welcome our New President and Vice President of
HuaXia Headquarter to join our school opening ceremony.
4. Registration will be held at 2:30 PM and will return
processing after the meeting finish.
5. As usual, we don’t have culture classes on the first
day of school. All culture classes will start on the
second week of school on September 15, 2007.
6. On this Saturday, our Parent Association (PA) will have
a Moon Cake Sale. There are different kind of moon cakes
and each box will sale for $11 or $12. If you plan to
purchase, please bring exact changes. Due to a limited
quantity, please come early.
7. Our Chinese School is a non-profit organization and it
is qualify to issue Volunteer Certificates to high school
students who provide volunteer work for our school. We
encourage your kids can join our school’s volunteer work.
Please apply for the work with VP, Mr. Ken Wang. However,
because the positions are limited, we only can accept a
number of volunteers.
