Fwd: Week 5 Message

Dear Parents and Teachers,

Every week, we have messages as usual. However this
week, we have a very important message.

Last Saturday our school had a food sale.  The
outcome was positive and the parents enjoyed it.  However,
someone did not follow our Students?Rules, Parents?
Responsibility, and the Teachers?Guidelines.  They ate
food in the classrooms. Because the food smell so bad, we
had to leave the doors open to allow the smell to
dissipate.  According to our contract with the Montgomery
School Dept, we are responsible for the classrooms.  They
want the rooms to be clean when their students arrive for
the next school week.  We have published the rules on the
first day of school that must be followed to avoid
complaints from the school dept.  They can be found on our
website. This building is used as a public school during the
week.

We must abide to their safety rules as well.  Food
is to be consumed only in the cafeteria.  Also, no one
should bring any improper items in this facility as well.
Anyone who breaks our school policy, or even state laws,
will be responsible for their wrongdoing.

I also encourage all of our parents, students, and
teachers to stop any improper activities and report them
to me or our school administration.

On a brighter note I have the following information.

1. Congratulations to our Huaxia Wushu Team (Montgomery
branch) who won Medals on the Huang Fei Hong Wushu Kung Fu
tournament (29 Sept. 2007, Jersey City). Please see
pictures at our website www.hxcsmg.org.

3.  Want to participate in Chinese Chess competition?
Register with PA Chair, Chu, RuiYin at room B102.

Hua Xia Edison Chinese School and New Jersey Chinese Chess
(Xiangqi) Association have decided to host the first ever
New Jersey Chinese Chess (Xiangqi) Tournament on Sunday,
November 4th, 2007.

4. Commerce bank.

A message from HXHQ:

In case anyone might have question about the possible
impact to our Commerce Affinity Program form this
morning's news of TD Bank buying out Commerce Bank,
please read attached email from Mr Becker. We will
continue to roll out the Program.

In addition to the announcement on HXCS's website and
newsletter, thanks to the effort of Henry's and
Xiaojuan's team, a two sheet, four page flyer package
is under process at both Commerce bank and HXCS'
contract printing shop. As Yongchu explained on recent
meetings, the school needs your help to gain success
in this program. Please take action and encourage
friends within your core team to link to this program.
We want to identify any possible operational flaw
through this pre-roll out practice and have them
corrected before rolling out the program into mass
population. Please direct any questions or comments
you might have to me and I will respond in a timely
manor.

Since Commerce Bank will deliver their first donation
on the date of anniversary of our program, which is
7/19/2008 if we have 350 member joining in the program
by then, in order to get some funding to support this
year's HXCS program, I am currently leading a parallel
effort in the hope to convince Commerce Marketing Dept
to spend money on this particular market. The more
participation in this pre-roll out phase, the better
chance to get funding. I will report to you for the
progress and your help and support is certainly needed
in the future.

United we stand.

Please use the updated documents from the following links
or download from there. Thanks a lot for your great
support.
