Dear Parents and Teachers, An IMPORTANT Message.
(1) This week, I received two complaints from UMS Principal抯 office. The complaints contain:
1. In one classroom, teacher抯 Refrigerator door had been
left open and the dial turned way up. The freezer was
caked with frost and the food items spoiled. Also, the
chairs and desks were all rearranged.
2. In several classrooms, the classroom chalk, markers are being used and school supplies are being used.
3. Children/Students on the rolling teacher chairs racing up and down the hallway pushing each other. Not only is
this dangerous, it is also a misuse of our furniture.
The UMS Principal抯 office commented 揥e believe that most
of the problems stem from a lack of supervision of the
students by adults. Apparently the children arrive in the
building and go into their classrooms before their teacher
has arrived. Mr. Robbins is requesting that no child be
allowed in a classroom without a teacher/adult present.?
Starts from this week, all students will not allowed in their classroom unless the class teacher or parents (stay
until teacher come) present.
Parents have to supervise your kids until classes start.Because of the requirement, I ask parents provide your help to your classroom teacher. Assist the teacher to meet
the requirement. Also, I ask teachers to work with
parents. I encourage more parents join Parent Association
(PA) to provide your supports.
Keep in mind that if we are not allowed using this school抯 facility, the most affected would be the
students.
(2) Last week, we received many parents complain for dangerous drive through and illegal parking in front of
entry door. I urge all parents park your car first at the
parking lot, and then bring your kids to school. Never
leave your car in front of entry door. Yield to people
walking into school. Be aware that the school parking area
is a public space. No park is allowed in front of school
entrance.
