Dear Parents and Teachers,
Wish all of you have a wonderful holiday!
We have no school on Dec. 27, 2008 and Jan. 3, 2009. The school will resume on Jan. 10, 2009.
On Dec. 20, we had a very successful winter holiday party. Many parents expressed their appreciations for the party. I can say the success is made by many parents’ contributions. First, I would like to thank all of our performers. Their performances won much applause from audiences. Second, I like to thank to all volunteers who organized and helped this party. Specifically thanks to Mr. Wang Jian who coordinated the stage performance, and thanks to PA chair – Mr. Zhang Yuan Zheng who coordinated the kids’ game zone. Also, thanks to many PA, Board, Administration members and some teachers who purchased and distributed kids’ gifts, prepared and sold tickets, decorated the stage, photographed, and helped on the stage. We also received help from more than ten teenager volunteers. I appreciate the help from these volunteers and I believe this school will be even better with all of your support.

One more positive note: We have four teenager volunteers (Teresa Zhong, Lily Wang, James Yang, Andy Li) who like to offer a free English class for our seniors. If you or your parents would like to learn more English or want to take the Citizenship Test, the class will start on the next school day on Jan. 31, 2009. See the attachment for the class description.
