Dear Parents and Teachers,

1. Please read the tearful poem - CryForYou.doc. Someone

wrote for the children lost their life in the Earthquake.

Let's remember them in our heart.

Here are brief statements from HXHQ.

On May 12, 2008, a massive earthquake hit SiChuan, China.

The strongest earthquake in China for decades already

caused death exceeding 19,000. The death toll is rising

fast with every passing day. Tens of thousands of people

are still buried in rubbles. Millions of lives are

affected.

donation.

We are going to have a parents meeting this Saturday 1:35

PM at Cafeteria. The meeting should take only 30 minutes.

The purpose of the meeting is to express our care for the

millions of people who lost so much in this unexpected

disaster and provide questions and answers related to the

donation procedures. Please make your best effort to

attend this meeting.

Starting from this week, the Board, Administration Team

and PA encourage all Huaxia Chinese School families to

donate.

Teachers will collect the students?donations in their

classes. Parent donations can either drop their

contribution in the donation box or make a check payable

to HXCS at Montgomery or as indicated in HXHQ's documents.

Let us bring our care and heart to these people who lost

their family members in the Earthquake.

2. HongChen Restaurant will have a donation food sale at

school this Saturday. All profit from the sale will be

donated to our school, then it will be donated to either

China Red Cross or Chinese Consulate in NY.

3. Please see attached for China Visa.

4. Keep in mind, we don't have school on May 24. The last

day of school is June 7.

5. The new school year 2008 - 2009 online registration

will be started soon.
