Dear parents,

It's week 9 after a school close week 8 due to snow.

1. First, I want to apologize for the late school close message last Sat. Some teachers and parents already left for school when the message was out. We will make the decision earlier in the future in similar situations.

2. Tuition refund checks for classes withdraws are ready to be picked up at school office after 3:30 pm.

3. Chinese American Cosmetic Profession Association would like to provide educational seminar on suncare and skin care to local Chinese communities in C104 at 1:45 pm. Please see the attachment for details.

4. Classroom switch:

MPL(1-3) Class 2 goes to B214;

MLP 10th grade goes to B209.

5. School and Admin and board had a meeting with township superintendent Mr. Kim tonight about how to promote HXCS parents to participate in school district activities. In addition to PTA, each Montgomery is having various steering committees about curriculum, school activities, as well as book talk clubs. BOE welcomes HXS parents to participate in discussions such as college admission and after school activitoes. Details will be followed about how to join these committees.

6. The 2nd HX Pop/Rock will be held in our Montgomery School 7:30 pm (after a concert of music students of teacher Gu MingZheng顾鸣争 5 -7 pm) in auditorium on 12/17, the last school day of the year. It will be a fun night.

A few bands, singing groups, and solo pop singers will present a top gear pop concert in NJ Chinese community.

Tickets are available at PTA with the suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Please see the attachment for the concert adv.
